About Me
Hi , I’m Jonny.
Artist, adventurer, nature lover. Currently recovering from a spinal injury. Rediscovering life’s many miracles.
I live on the Sussex coast in Brighton. I’m most often found painting outdoors. I paint in oils and my favourite subjects are landscapes and nature. My approach is rooted in mindful awareness. I get to soak in a view for hours on end. Time often stands still. It’s like having a luxurious soak in a bath!
My brushes have taken me beyond Brighton, capturing the beauty of South Wales, the Lake District, Cornwall, Jersey, Guernsey, Greece, and Spain. I’m always open to invitations to paint commissions in other parts of the country and further afield, so if you have a stunning location in mind, let me know.
2023 was a year of exciting milestones, entering several competitions and exhibiting. You may have seen me pop up on the TV on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year, broadcast in February 2024 in the UK. So much fun to paint with so many other wonderful artists!
