So enjoyed painting this over the last couple of days.

South Milton Sands is an absolutely stunning beach in South Devon. Already planning a return visit to the area!

Thanks to all the lovely people I’ve met over the last few days. I love it when people stop for a chat when I’m painting. One of the best bits of painting outdoors

I swam off this beach before and after the painting.

There’s something really special about literally immersing myself in the seascape. I’m sure it helps me to find the right colours for the sea and the sand. And then to swim in the scene l’ve just been staring at for hours is sublime!
