Painted en plein air May 2023. The sun came out and everyone had gone to the beach. Me and my painting buddy Tony headed along too! The beach was packed but we found a sandy patch. Shoes and socks off. Painting in bare feet on damp sand on a hot day. Perfect!

Loved trying to capture the heat of the day, the people everywhere and the reflections off the water. And all framed by the iconic West Pier and the Brighton skyline.
